Bernisha is a versatile and innovative Project and Operations Management professional with expertise in business development and streamlining processes and systems with experience in Hotels & Hospitality, Commercial/Residential Insurance and Construction industries.

Bernisha oversees MWE recruitment administration, onboarding, legal compliance, payroll, data and reporting, and other general people-related activities within the team. She maintains a pulse on the mood of MWE and acts as a connection point between leadership and staff. She establishes systems and practices that promote collaboration, performance, and accountability.

Veonna Washington

Assistant Project Manager

Veonna has 12 years of experience in project management and implementation, planning and systems in several industries, including marketing research, public health and interior design. More recently, she entered the real estate development space and joined MW Enterprises, LLC as an Assistant Project Manager in March of 2019.

She supports senior management on small-scale commercial real estate development projects. Veonna specializes in managing internal projects and implementing processes to streamline the company’s workflow. Veonna served in the United States Army Reserve for 8 years as a Psychological Operations Specialist, receiving her honorable discharge in February of 2016.

Anika Jackson

Anika is a mother, community volunteer, philanthropist, and brand strategist. There has never been a time when she didn’t enjoy connecting, collaborating and creating meaningful relationships between businesses and communities, and strategically helping brands apply those concepts to meet their goals.

A woman gifted with the ability to draw excitement to an event, brand or concept, creating winning solutions and developing strategic press and marketing initiatives that lift up key partnerships and collaborations is the fuel that excites her.

Genelle Brooks

Lead Designer

Genelle Brooks-Petty is the principal designer of BPC Interior Design, a Los Angeles-based design firm servicing contract, and residential clients. After years in the fashion industry, her clients in that realm pushed her into interior design. While studying interior architecture at UCLA, she honed her skills under a famed designer, and serviced residential and boutique-scale commercial clients of her own, developing a unique perspective.

Her work bridges gaps as she aims to build community through design. She is an associate member of AIA (American Institute of Architects), Allied ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), AWA+D (Association for Women in Architecture and Design), and a board member of SoCal NOMA (National Organization of Minority Architects).

Mel Wyatt

Principal / Developer

Mel is responsible for the strategic direction and operations of MW Enterprises LLC including acquisitions, financing, management, and development. She has acquired and developed a residential, commercial, and multi-family portfolio exceeding $25MM in value since founding the company in 2011.

Mel is deeply involved in all aspects of deal sourcing, deal structuring, and development programming. She is focused on creative development strategies and building stronger communities. She is heavily sought after in speaking and coaching in real estate investing and acquisition, development, and property management.
